- 2008 : Sohagpur, District Hoshangabad – 54 acres
- 2009: Sohagpur, District Hoshangabad – 100 acres
- 2010: Sohagpur, District Hoshangabad – 20 acres
- 2011: Shahpura, District Dindori – 70 acres
- 2012: District Umaria – 200 acres, Dindori – 100 acres
- 2013: Sohagpur: 60 acres, District Umaria – 200 acres
- 2014: Sohagpur: 65 acres, District Mandla – 100 acres
- 2015: Chindwara: 200 acres
- 2016 (till now): Chindwara: 100 acres , Sohagpur: 30 acres, Dindori: 25 acres
- TOTAL : 1354 acres …. and increasing
Status of Farm Maturity (July , 2016):
- Stage 0 – No work started: 300 acres
- Stage 1 – Large trees saplings planted or readied in nursery: 600 acres
- Stage 2 – Fruit plantations done, toor etc first year: 100 acres
- Stage 3 – Honey , herbs and other flora/fauna initiated: 170 acres
- Stage 4 – Basket of production being realised: 184 acres
Farming Projects Not Available to BIF Managed Farms (due to high risk)
Fishery, Dairy, Contract Farming for Organic Molecules.
Fencing Costs Indicator in 2016
A. Temporary (upto 2 year fencing) with wood/shrubs or stones:
Cost Rs. 10000/- per 2000 feet => Rs 5/running feet
Typically 1 acre plot has 1500 to 2000 running feet => Cost of Rs. 10000/-
Typically 10 acre plot has 6000 to 7000 running feet => Cost Rs. 30,000/-
B. Permanent (life of 5 to 7 years ) 6′ Cement pole/ barbed wire fencing:
Cost of pole : 190 per pole – each pole at 10′
Cost of barbed wire: Rs. 5500/ 100 kg => Rs 5500 for 200′ x 5 rows => Rs. 275 per 10 feet
Miscelleneous cost (cement/transport/labor): Rs. 5 per 10′ feet
Total cost: Rs. 470 per 10 feet
Typically 1 acre plot has 1500 to 2000 running feet => Cost of Rs. 95,000/-
Typically 10 acre plot has 6000 to 7000 running feet => Cost Rs. 2,90,000/-
